Lifespan Psychiatry of Colorado provides individualized, evidence-based outpatient care for adolescents and adults with eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), pica, rumination disorder, and other unspecified eating disorders. Treatment is tailored to each patient's needs and may include psychiatric medication management, psychotherapy, laboratory monitoring, coordinated nutritional support with a Registered Dietitian, high-fidelity collaboration with primary care providers, and referral to specialists or higher level of care when indicated.
Treatment is focused on:

Medical stabilization including malnutrition and health status
Addressing co-occurring conditions such as suicidal ideation, anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and substance use disorders
Addressing disordered thinking and maladaptive behaviors
Encouraging healthy eating habits

Our Registered Dietician, Nicole Fuller, RD, is a clinical registered dietitian. Nicole graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and completed a 1200-hour internship through Keith and Associates Dietetic Internship at Community Hospital of Grand Junction. She is registered through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Nicole is an intuitive eating telehealth dietitian that specializes in eating disorders, repairing relationships with food & body positivity, pediatrics, and medical nutrition therapy for diseases and disorders.
