Carrie began her nursing career in 2000 focusing on the needs of patients within the acute hospital setting. Upon furthering her education at Johns Hopkins University and University of Cincinnati, Carrie chose to focus on client's needing specialized psychiatric care and treatment. Clinical interests include Asperger syndrome, developmental disabilities, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Carrie's passion is serving the underrepresented while reducing the stigma associated with mental health.
Our prescriber, Pam Carter, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Pam began her career in 2014, working in acute mental health hospital settings. She completed her Registered Nursing Degree and worked as a board-certified Psychiatric Registered Nurse and Certified Addiction Registered Nurse at several hospitals across Colorado. Pam went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University to provide a higher level of collaborative care for her clients. Her specialized experiences and clinical interests include: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Disabilities, Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and Mood Disorders. Pam is a Violet-verified inclusive health provider for BIPOC, LGBTQ, and TGNC patients. With over ten years of experience in mental health, he has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, gaining expertise in education and leadership. Matthew takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, emphasizing evidence-based treatments to support overall well-being. His clinical interests include substance use disorders, anxiety, and depression, and he is dedicated to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery and improved mental health.

She obtained her certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, and her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Regis University in Denver CO. For many years, she has specialized in caring for individuals across the lifespan within a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term care facilities, crisis management, and 'tele' (virtual) psychiatry. She is experienced in treating mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. Her approach to treatment and medication management is collaborative. Our provider, Vanessa Baker, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping people feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and daily lives. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Saint Louis University in 2018 and works with adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood instability, focus difficulties, and stress-related challenges. She takes a whole-person approach to mental health—looking beyond symptoms to understand how biology, life experiences, and thought patterns intersect. Her goal is not only symptom relief, but helping patients gain insight, confidence, and practical tools they can use long after their visits.
