Our psychotherapist, Neil Sanchez, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). Neil graduated in 2005 from The University of Colorado Colorado Springs. His practice area focus is in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and he is dedicated to helping clients navigate a wide range of psychological challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. In his practice, Neil creates a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment, encouraging clients to explore their thoughts and feelings openly. He believes in empowering my clients by providing them with the tools and strategies they need to effect meaningful change in their lives. Neil's approach is holistic and uses humor when appropriate, considering aspects of an individual’s well-being, including mental, emotional, physical, and social health. Neil is an active member of the American Counseling Association, National Board for Certified Counselors. He is also an advocate for destigmatizing mental health issues and foster open conversations about mental wellness in various settings. When not in the office, Neil enjoys being physically active with hiking, Jiu Jitsu, camping and spending time with his family. His belief in a balanced life is woven into my therapeutic philosophy, where he encourages his clients to find joy and fulfillment in their own lives.
Our psychotherapist, Robert Emery, MA, LPC, is licensed to provide professional counseling. Robert began working with clients with mental health needs in 2014. In 2020, he received a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the George Washington University. Robert has experience working with multiple mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and sleep disorders.
Our psychotherapist, Melinda Blake, MS, LCSW, received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Colorado State University and her masters degree in social work from the University of Denver. Melinda has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and substance use. Her focus is mostly working with adults on individual therapy, group therapy, and some family therapy as needed. She utilizes therapies with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. Melinda grew up in Colorado and loves living in western Colorado. Along with her husband and three children, Melinda enjoys the outdoors, movies, cooking, baking, sports, reading, games, and is active in her faith and spirituality. Melinda's motto is "I am your go-to person for structured and focused therapy sessions but also meeting people where they are."
Our psychotherapist, Rebecca "Becky" Benzel, MA, LPC, attended and graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2008 with her BA in counseling psychology and went on to attend Adams State University with her MA in Community Counseling. Becky has been licensed as an LPC in the State of Colorado since 2013. While earning her degrees, Becky was a Domestic Violence Advocate for five years and has practiced as a therapist in the Delta, CO area for years. After living in Colorado for 26 years, Becky made the decision to relocate near her adult children in Montana. She will continue to do psychotherapy via telehealth for patients in Colorado. Becky describes herself as: I am empathetic, an excellent listener, and I have great communication skills. I can engage comfortably under any circumstance with most people I encounter and am able to find that person where they are at. I believe that most people have their answers inside of them and it is my job to help those clients find the changes and/or acceptances they need to be able to live life to their fullest. Trust building and individualization with each client is of utmost importance to me and I pride myself in not being judgmental and am able to hear what people are not saying.
Our psychotherapist, Brittani Bair, MA, MDiv, LMFT, LAC graduated with an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Louisville Seminary in 2015. She has worked in residential treatment, wilderness therapy, crisis services, and outpatient therapy settings. Brittani is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Brittani has years of experience working with adolescents with severe mental health concerns and trauma. She also enjoys treating adults with trauma and addiction, as well as couples.
Our psychotherapist, Jon Siegel, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) currently residing in Montrose, Colorado. Jon attended San Diego State University where he earned a B.A. in Psychology. After various career endeavors, he later obtained an M.A. in Community Counseling from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado (2009). Some of Jon’s past work experience includes serving individuals with intellectual disabilities, at-risk youth/adolescents, emergency response work, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), community mental health & school based counseling (K-12). Jon shares a passion for learning about the human condition & in helping others to empower & improve themselves through the counseling process. His therapeutic orientation is focused primarily in Person-Centered Therapy & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), often incorporating use of learned coping strategies & wellness approaches. Helping clients challenge negative, self-critical & distorted thinking patterns is a primary clinical interest. Jon works with many age groups, primarily adults & adolescents. Treatment is often focused in helping others reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression & stress, processing emotions related to past trauma or abuse, grief/ loss concerns or improving anger management & emotional-regulation.
Our psychotherapist, Michele Wilkie, MS, LAC, received her bachelor’s degree from Colorado Mesa University and her master’s degree from Capella University. She is experienced in mental health, substance use disorders, Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and acu-detox/acu-wellness. Her focus is working with older teens and adults in the forensic population specializing in co-occurring disorders and has worked with this population for over 6 years. Michele is fully committed to support her clients where they are at and help walk beside them on their journey.
Our psychotherapist, Shelley Green, MA, LPC, NCC, is a master’s level Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Shelley graduated with a master’s degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in guidance and counseling with an emphasis on agency counseling and substance abuse treatment. Shelley previously was in private practice focusing on therapy with individuals experiencing PTSD, depression or suicidality, grief, and adults needing pastoral care. In Colorado since 1996, Shelley has provided therapy for adults, couples, families, and children as young as six months old. Her work has included treating clients with depression, anxiety, grief, developmental challenges, spiritual concerns, addictions, personal growth, mindfulness, art therapy, parenting, relationship enhancement, and healing from trauma such as incest or abuse. Her experience has fostered skills of compassion, non-judgment, deep listening, and mindfulness. Shelley uses techniques from EMDR, CBT, DBT, Eco-systemic play therapy with children, and other modalities to support clients achieving their goals in therapy.
Our psychotherapist, Angie Law, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Adams State University in 2017 located in Colorado. Angie currently resides in Spain with her partner and dog Howard. She is practicing telehealth services overseas. Angie works primarily with adolescents, young adults, and individuals in middle adulthood (18 to 40s). She is trained in family work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), complicated grief, and complex trauma. Angie utilizes an integrated, holistic approach with all clients. She enters each session with nonjudgement, trust, and empathy. She believes that we are strengthened by genuine connections to ourselves and through our relationships with others. Angie’s personal philosophy asserts, “I am committed to helping individuals and families heal and become aware of their own inspiring strengths. As we navigate through life and relationships, some experiences cause us to be confronted with grief, loss, loneliness, and many other complicated emotions. We may feel confusion around our relationships, self, and purpose. I make every effort to instill hope, and hold hope with individual clients and families.”
Our psychotherapist, Haleigh Wuster, MFTC, earned her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has additional trauma training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). A significant amount of Haleigh’s training focuses on working with couples and family systems. Haleigh views therapy from an attachment and emotion-focused lens when seeing individuals, couples, and families. She has a special interest in trauma work, couples therapy, and repairing parent-child relationships. Haleigh has additional training in Gottman Method for Couples, as well as Attachment-Based Family Therapy training for family systems. Outside of the therapy room, Haleigh enjoys traveling to new places, playing pickleball, and spending time outdoors. Haleigh is excited to explore all that Western Colorado has to offer, as she is new to the area.
Our psychotherapist, Marisela "Chela" Elliott, LCSW, LAC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor who has dedicated the last 18 years to providing family preservation services and specialized clinical services. Since 2009, she's been offering clinical services to clients and patients in various settings. Chela is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Her journey has been diverse, and it has equipped her with a broad range of experiences to support you in your healing process. She diagnoses and treats mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders and is specially trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches. Chela’s clinical interests include adult and older adult specific: addiction, ADHD, anger management, antisocial behavior, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality, chronic health issues, dementia, depression, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, gender identity, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, narcissistic personality, OCD (obsessive-compulsive), psychosis/schizophrenia, complex PTSD, self-harm and suicidal feelings, somatic symptoms, spirituality/faith, stress, and video telehealth. Chela graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with a Master of Social Work. Chela offers treatment modalities in the areas of: Attachment-Based Therapy, the CAMS Framework for suicide treatment, Complicated Grief Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, and trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She often use a trauma-informed integrative approach. She lives between two states, Colorado and Nevada, and travels often to spend time with family. She primarily serves adults and older adults as a telehealth therapist. Our psychotherapist, Dr. Kimberly Greenman, is originally from Los Angeles, California. Before joining us here in Colorado, Kimberly received her PhD in Social Psychology from The University of Nevada, Reno, her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Houston and her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University. Kimberly works with professionals as well as a variety of adults and older adults looking to achieve their goals to reach their next level. Kimberly focuses on person-centered, strength-based modalities, incorporating a wellness approach. Kimberly helps her clients address dimensions of wellness including: emotional, intellectual, social, financial, physical, environmental, spiritual, and occupational. Kimberly believes in supporting her clients where they are and helping her clients in building the life they want to live. Kimberly creates a warm and non-judgmental environment, encouraging clients to explore their thoughts and feelings openly. She believes in empowering her clients by providing them with the tools and strategies needed to effect meaningful change in their lives. Kimberly has been married for over thirty years and has three adult children.
Our psychotherapist, Debra L. “Lyn” Taylor is a PhD in Addiction Psychology, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Licensed Addiction Counselor. She graduated from Capella University in 2010, graduated with her Masters in Counseling Psychology from University of Colorado in 1996. She obtained her LPC in 2003 and moved to obtain her LAC in 2022. She is licensed in the State of Colorado as LPC and LAC with supervision capabilities. Lyn has worked with the substance abuse and mental health population for 35 years. Prior experience with co-occurring individuals in Grand Junction and Delta, Colorado with the forensic population and those individuals under Department of Human Services needing substance abuse and mental health treatment; anxiety, depression, trauma. She uses a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including CBT, MI and DBT methods; as well as implementing humor and holistic approach, encompassing mind, body, health.
